ABB PAPER ON 8th JULY AT COIMBATORE

I appeared for the ABB placement paper and i am giving you the pattern and an idea of the question paper:
1) Verbal section – 20 Questions (20 minutes): easy
2) Analytical – 20 Questions (25 minutes): you need to manage time.
3) Attention to detail – 15 Questions (15 minutes): Easy. Questions like which two are alike
4) Technical – 60 Questions (60 minutes): Tough. Questions from Electrical Electronics Engineering EEE. The topics and questions are from switchgears, circuit breakers. etc
Its an online test and they have a sectional cut off. The shortlisted candidates will be called to Bangalore.
ABB Interview:
The interview is technical in nature.
You should have clear understanding of the basic concepts and equations commonly used in electrical sector.
For example RLC circuit equations and basics. More about switch gears, circuit breakers, power components, etc.
You should have the concepts clear about your final year project. Questinos about electrical project will be asked for a lot of time an dyou have to make sure that you know it well and can explain it well.
HR Questions are also asked.
Those who clear this round, there is a psychometric test for them.
There is an HR Round again then. The whole process is qutie serious and tuogh – not like ordinary campus placement papers.
You have to prepare hard for ABB’s job placement / selection test.
