Dell India Pvt Limited was incorporated in 1996. Dell’s direct operations in india started in the year 2000 from Banglore – India’ Silicion valley. Ever since its launch in india, Dell India has been growing at a tremendous pace.

Dell’s first India manufacturing facility in the state of Tamil Nadu, which began manufacturing in the first half of 2007 will initially focus on production of desktop computers. The new facility and related operations will be located in a 50-acre land area in Sriperumbudur Hi-Tech Park, outside of Chennai.
