HP Placement papers
This is Sanjeev Gupta from Kharagpur. HP conducted the recruitment test at our college on 6th june 2007.

The selection process is as follows:
1. HP Written test
2. HP GD round
3. HP Technical Interview
4. HP HR Interview

1.The written test was consisted of:

1.Logical analysis(25 question):
The questions were very easy ones and most were repeated from other placement papers.uestion.

2.Technical(30question ):

The technical question were tough, the questions were mainly from C, C++, Rdbms n digital electronics circuits(DEC)

There were sectional cut-off. 4m around 200 candidate only 63 cleared d written test.
2. There was the GD Round. Its again a very tense round as you know. There are a lot of candidates and you just have to stay confident and say few good lines there. Then you have to sum up the topic at the end.
The GD Topics were like:
a. Should there be uniform dress code in college?
b. Love marriage or arrange marriage
c. Mercy killing

out of 63 candidate only 22 cleared the GD

3.The Technical Interview round:

You should not leave anything about your project. Study it properly
Questions were like:
Tell me abt ur project?
How can ur project helpful in software field?
Questions abt computer like,what storage device in comp,draw d block diagram of computer?

Out of 22 candidate 11 were selected 4 d HR interview

4.HR Interview round:

They were asking very simple questions like about yourself, family background and very few technical questions like the ones in the technical test. Good luck for your paper. just study the previous papers well, prepare your project properly and have knowledge about the basics of the technical topics they ask.
