Here is the NTPC placement exam paper july 2007 at Noida.
Hi friends i am from B.tech ece – electronics and communication engg branch.
I was called for interview on 3rd and 4th july 2007 after clearing the written exam. On 3rd there was a pschometry test which was quite easy. The gd was also organised and the groups were of about 9 candidates. We were given 2 topics and had to choose one from them. The gd was quite the same as at other places. We were given meals and tea for free there. Also the psychometry test was a short one and of about 7 minutes. The remaining time was spent on document verification of students.
Next day was the technical hr interview. The interview lasted for exactly 15 minutes for each candidate. I am a fresher so i was asked about my final year training and project which i answered properly. I was asked a number of questions about the project and they were satisfied. They asked why i wanted to join NTPC and whether i had taken an interview with another company. just the common tech interview questions.. he also asked a few simple questions on a simple circuit. I just explained the working of the circuit though i couldnt find out the value of voltage there. I think he was fine with that only..
