Here is the test paper pattern.
It was an easy paper and the cutoff was quite high. There were total 170 questions out of which 120 were technical objective type questions and 50 were aptitude ones. The time is 2 hours. So the aptitude part is smaller in NTPC.
For preparing the technical written part, you can prepare the GATE syllabus. There are a lot of similarities. For aptitude as you know RS Aggarwal is sufficient.
