Below is the account of my experience in the ZTE Placement test. First they take a written test after which there is a GD and the technical hr interview. B.tech ECE EE EEE Candidates experience notes.
The main important topics for ZTE Written test from which the most questions were asked were:
IP addresses
TCP/IP and OSI models
GSM and CDMA technologies in detail
SS7 signalling
Wireless communication (Book Rappaport and Forouzen)
After this technical written test, there is the ZTE group discussion round. Batches of 5 members each were going.
They asked our group to perform an activity (I think it was just to check your team skill) They have a different type of GD round.
After the GD there was the technical HR interview. The topics were as above. They also asked questions about my final year training and project. Then the same hr interview questions.. Finally i sailed through the whole ZTE selection procedure. I got selected for their MSC Operations.
