C-DOT or Centre for development of Telematics test paper on 10th June at New Delhi

Hi Friends.. I am providing this C-dot question paper and test pattern for all so that it helps you in some way.

C-DOT Selection Process:
It consists of Written Test (objective) followed by an interview.
The paper is different for both computer science cse and electronics and communication engineering – B.tech / BE ece branch students. Both have their respective technical questions.

Written Test for ECE students. This year the paper consisted of 100 questions.
It had questions on following topics:
Communication engineering
10-18 questions on PCM – Pulse Code modulation, AM – Amplitude modulation, FSK, DPSK, etc. Numericals and Objective questions:
Autocorrelaton
OFC (5 – 10 questions)
Digital Electronics DE Questions:

How many half adder and or gates required for 4 bit adder.
Boolean equations
Totem pole output
Analog electronics

20 – 30 questions
Transistors ,electron hole concentration , etc.
Numerical based on base current n all
Microwave Engineering

10 Q
one was like wave guide acts as? A high pass filter(answer)
Range of radar one numerical.
One or two questions from networking and one was from C it was based on binary and linear search. One or two questions were also based upon logical ability like set theory (simple one).

I remember this much only. If you have good knowledge of all electronics subjects (for ECE paper), and you have even prepared for GATE, then you can clear the C-DOT admission test / entrance exam easily. Good luck..
