HCL visited the campus for recruitment of trainees / freshers on 5th sep. The question paper pattern had 2 parts.
The first part had 60 aptitude questions and time allowed was 45 minutes.
Analogy -5,G.P series- 2,(+,-*,/) 4 questions on this basis it was some wat difficult.
e.g -2*3+4-5=14 and 4 option for that (i)+,- (ii)+,/ (iii)*,/ (iv)/,+

(i)500(ii)600)(iii)512(iv)612
Second section - Complete series - they had given 5 number in between that one blank so we have to identify what is that number e.g – 12, 16,_, 20, 22
Coding-decoding: 5 questions. It was easy, one puzzle of sitting arrangement was there. An easy one. Like 6 persons sat in a row in the face of east side in that it had given information on basis of that we have to sit.
Third section- Alphabets – 5 questions, eg What is the same alphabet on that word Confidence , 1 data-Interpretation question, it was bar graph on the basis of they had given 5 questions. Last 5 questions i dont remember. Its wasnt difficult.
Fourth Section - It was verbal English section, in that first 5 questions were from grammar / grammatical mistakes, they had given 4 similar type of sentences and u have to find correct sentence, 3 questions from antonyms and 4 ques from synonyms
The last 3 Q were to fill up the correct form of verb in that sentence.
The second part had 20 questions from the C programming language. The time duration was 15 minutes. There were all basic c questions and programs / error finding ones and basic concepts – c language theoretical questions.
ii) They asked how you joined this college?
iii) Asked about my native and few questions on that.
iv) Asked questions about my suject of interest. In my case it was oops.
v) They had asked data encapsulation of real time example?
vi) Any relocation problem?
vii) Are you ready to sign service bond for one and half year?
viii) Do you plan to go for higher studies?
