Indian army came for direct recruitment / employment of engineers – from all B.tech branches ECE – electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering ME, EE electrical, civil, computer science cse, IT, production, etc. at Guru nanak dev engineering college GNE Ludhiana today on 20th August 2008.

They say that the engineers will posted as lieutenant initially after the training. The ssb interview is pending after this college campus interview.

As i am from ECE branch, they asked questions from the communications and electronics fields. They were smart Indian army men. It was only an interview. I entered the room and greeted them.

Some interview questions they asked me: (HR / technical tech army questions)

Tell me about yourself.  I got confused. I said sir i had not expected this kind of question. They were cool guys – said cool down, dont worry. Then i told about myself and they were impressed.

Why do you want to join the Indian army and not any private company? Told that its a respectful life in the army and i am not after money. I want respectful and disciplined living. And army person has a high status, etc.

Also asked me some technical questions:

What are sky waves and ground waves? What is the difference between them?//

A lot about microprocessors and microcontrollers. But just basics like which pin is this.. Where we connect this.. questions like these.

Also asked few more questions about my family background, etc.

Later He told me that i had done good… thank god..
