Sutherland india placement test was held at chennai on March 2006. There were 4 rounds in the sutherland test.
Here is the Sutherland Placement Test Paper Pattern:
1) English Communications Skills: First of all what they do is testing your English language skills. Speaking is the most important of them.
2) Online Assessment: The online assessment test round is divided into two section. (There are 40 questions and 40 minutes)
Listening Skills (You have to listen to conversation and answer some questions (20 questions)
Technical Skills (Basic questions from OS like windows xp, computers are asked like what is the extension of bitmap file) (20 questions and time allowed is 20 minutes)
3) HR Techincal Interview: Around 10 simple questions are asked. Like “what is BIOS” “Whats the
difference between Windows 98 and windows XP? How to make partitions in xp etc.
Some troubleshooting, etc.
4) HR general Interview: mainly check you and your english skills. About five questions are asked like “Tell me about yourself”, “Why Sutherland?”, Family Background, speak on a topic for few minutes and other simple hr questions.
You must have basic computer hardware and Windows OS knowledge with good English Language communication skills. This can help you get through the sutherland placement test.
