This test was held on 27th February at BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology Kolkata, West Bengal – BPPIMT

 

Tech Mahindra came for campus placements here. First they gave the ppt.

 

Next was the online aptitude test. The time was 1 hour and there were 75 questions.

There are 5 sections in all. There’s no negative marking in tech mahindra placement test.

2parts were from simple maths, logical reasoning, alphabetical series, simple puzzles…(basically all were easy)

3 parts were from English
  a. Fill in the blanks with article, prepositions, suitable verb forms
  b. Multiple Choice questions ( simple synony ms,correct & incorrect sentences)
  c. Reading Comprehension..10 questions..very easy

52 out of 100 (approx) were selected for the technical round

There were lesser technical questions in tech mahindra interview and more HR ones.

The questions were…
1.Give a brief introduction.
2. Hobbies…
3. Think that i don’t know anything about C, C++ You just tell me what do know about those?
4. What have you done at the IIT project?
5. What do you know about telecom industry?
i sailed through the tech interview.
Next was the HR Interview:

41 students were selected for the H.R interview…
Questions were like: (it took only 2-3mins)
1. Brief introduction…(once again!!)
2. Why this company?
3. Any location preferences?
4. Anything i want to ask?

MBT has the reputation of not cutting anyone after the H.R. They maintained their reputation. All 41 were selected. Ao if u can cross the technical round you are certainly there. Good luck!
