Here are the Verizon India Written Aptitude Test Details and sample questions (multiple choice type) both technical and aptitude questions. The placement test was held at Mumbai on 16th April 2006.
The total time was 80 minutes with 4 sections and 75 questions.
Verizon Placement Paper Pattern / Section:
Verbal Ability
Analytical Ability
Attention to detail.
C programming and Data structures.
1.Verbal Ability
It consited of 20 questions for 15 minutes.
It mainly tests your English grammar skills. Questions about prepositions, articles, etc..
There were 2 passages. One was non-technical and other was technical.
The technical passage was about computer security.
2. Analytical Ability
It consisted of 25 questions for 30 minutes. There were 10 questions of Venn Diagrams type (CAT Venn diagram problems)
A cube problem of previous paper was also repeated.
3. Attention to Detail.
20 questions = 20 minutes
3 numbers were given and asked to find how many numbers are similar. Symbol substitution problems of CAT. Eg. * stands for /,
- stands for * and so on and asked to calculate.
4. C Language and data structures Questions (Computer science engineering – cse, IT B.tech / BE branch subjects)
10 questions= 15 minutes
Questions were about Queue, pointers, Dfs, Bfs, Inorder, preorder, postorder, traversals, Kruskal, Algo, Dijkstra Algo, etc.
