Perot Systems Placement Test Paper on 4th April 2007 atLokmanya Tilak college of Engineering, Navi Mumbai
14 colleges were invited for the placement test. There were about 680 candidates out of which only 5 got fnally selected. So they selected only a few candidates.
Perot Paper Pattern and Selection Procedure:
Aptitude test Questions: 100 marks 45 minutes
English Paper 25 marks 20 minutes
Technical Interview
HR interview
Aptitude test:-
The aptitude test section consists of 20 questions of 1 mark, 15 questions of 2 marks and 10 questions of 5 marks.
1 mark – series type questions
2 marks – Questions were on maths, mathematics calculations for time & work, train, water stream and age problems.
5 marks – C programming language programs, flowcharts and output finding questions.
English test:-
These are easy multiple choice questions like fill in the blanks type, etc.
Only 32 candidates out of 680 cleared the written exam.
Technical Interview:-
They took a lot of time for each candidate. They took about 45 minutes for each person.
Perot Systems Sample technical questions:
What are structures in C language?
Tell about the OOP concept in C++?
What do you mean by Inheritance?
ELectronics branch questions like Construction & description of JFET, FET, CMOS, MOSFET etc.
Some candidates were told to write C programs while some electronics branch persons were told to draw some electronic circuits in addition to some logical questions.
Only 13 persons were selected for the HR interview.
HR interview: Its very depressing as already a lot of candidates have been eliminated. They again took a lot of time like 45 minutes for each candidate. There were 3 interviewers.

Why didnt you go for Electronics or Mechanical fields / branches?
Why did you leave previous company?
WIll you work for them if given a chance?
Why should we hire you?
Some other questions like hobbies, background, projects done, etc.
