The Secondary School Admission Test, or SSAT, is an admissions test for students in grades 5-11 for placement into private junior high and high schools.
The SSAT Test is administered in the United States and Canada. There are various centres in the US and Canada which are usually independent schools. There are many SSAT Test centres worldwide.
There are two levels of the SSAT test:
- Lower level for students in grades 5-7
- Upper level for students in grades 8-11
There are two parts of the SSAT Test:
- Brief essay part
- Multiple choice test that includes Mathematics, Reading Comprehension and Verbal sections. There are total five sections.
