3i Infotech Placement Paper held on 16th September 2007 at Hyderabad.
3i Infotech Written Test Pattern:
There were 3 sections of 50 questions each.
1. Logical Reasoning
2. Quantitative aptitude
3. English The test will be of 90 minutes duration.
There is a negative marking. 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong questions.
Section 1: English Language
A paragraph is given and 10 questions are asked related to the paragraph.
There are 3 synonyms questions
3 Antonyms
9 Fill in the blanks type questions
There are 15 more questions in the english section. You have to find the grammatical errors in these questions.
There are few jumbled sentence questions too.
Section 2 : Reasoning Type Questions
5 questions of the type Venn Diagrams
Sitting arrangement question
Question based on Blood Relations-
Question about critical resoning (like all banana’s are mango, some mangoes are chilli …)
Find the odd one out in the series.
Coding Decoding
Data sufficiency Type:
Read RS Aggarwal for all deatiled sample questions and answers.
Section 3 : Arithmetic Questions
1. Probab — 5 questions
2. Data Interpretation- 15 questions
3. Simplification – 12 questions, as (1) if 12.48 / ? / 56.4 = 12.3 then find ?
4. Trains speed – 1 question
5. Compound Interest – 1 question
6. Series Completion – 5 question
7. Linear equations, ratio proportion and profit & loss type questions .
The results for the 3i infotech written test were declared on 12th October. Those who were selected, were called for GD and Interview on 2th October.
