Here is the 3i Infotech Placement Paper held on 15th September 2007 at Bangalore.
3i Infotech Written test pattern:
There were 150 questions and the whole test paper was divided into three sections.
The time alloted for 150 questions was 90 minutes so there are 30 minutes for each section.
The three written test sections are:
- English Section
- Quantitative
- Reasoning
The negative marking is 1/4. It means for every wrong answer you will get minus 0.25 marks.
They also have a sectional cut off. The test is time consuming and you need to do it real fast.The result for the written test was declared a month afterwards. Yes, a month afterwards!
Then they called for the group discussion and interview around 10 days after the result declaration.
3i Infotech GD & Technical HR Interview:
There are 8 persons in each round. They are looking mainly for communication skills in the GD. Seems like they need only good english speaking candidates.
There is a technical and hr interview after the group discussion. The questions asked were about the project, few questions related to C language.
They asked me whether i have any problems in relocation, passport ready or not, ready to sign a bond for 2 years?
Communication skills are important and you should learn everything about the company from their website. The result was declared 15 days after the interview. I got selected.
