How to delete the history in Internet Explorer in Windows?
Remove all the visited websites or URLs from the internet explorer list, clear the visited links history in Explorer.

See How to do this in easy steps:
In the Internet Explorer Top Menu, Click Tools
Then Click Internet Options
At the bottom You will see the “Clear History” button.
Press this Button to clear the history and remove all the visited websites.

(the steps may be somewhat similar for windows, firefox and mac)

You can select the time to keep the visited links in the history folder in internet explorer.
Select the number of days to keep the links to pages you have visited in history.
