This windows xp tutorial tells you how to display a text notice on the startup screen every time when the windows starts up. You can put up a caution on the windows startup screen to alert or warn the users and to give them some legal instructions about using your computer. You can write something there, thus customize the startup screen and instruct them not to do anything which will be against your privacy.
How to display a text notice on startup:
Click Start and select run.
Then type REGEDIT there and press enter.
Go to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system]
“legalnoticecaption”=”enter your notice caption here”
“legalnoticetext”=”enter your legal notice text here”

Thus you can write the caption and notice text on the startup screen window.
