This tutorial shows you how to set up your own custom screensaver in Windows XP using your own pictures/ photos:

It is possible to set up your own screensaver in Windows XP. Its an easy trick. Your pictures in the “My Pictures” folder can be displayed using transition effects in the screensaver.

To make your own screensaver in XP using “My Pictures” , do the following:

Right click on an empty spot on your desktop and click Properties.

Go to the screensaver tab.

In the screensaver pulldown menu, Select “My pictures Slideshow”

YOu can adjust the time to wait before displaying the screensaver.

Under “settings” you can change or customize the screensaver like the transition effects, speed, size, etc.

Click OK and Use the preview button to preview how your screen saver looks like.

You can make further adjustments or select Apply and your own custom screensaver using your album is ready.
