Send money to India – How to transfer money by Bank wires – India

You can transfer money by bank wires from any one ICICI bank account to another by wires. The bank branches may be anywhere throughout the country.

Walk in to your local bank branch and ask them that you want to send money to another ICICI bank account. In the beneficiary details, mention the account number of the beneficiary or the recipient of the money by wires.

Please remember to tell your bank to mention “OUR” in their charges column when they send the wire transfer.

The time taken is 24-48 hours to send the money to the recipient using bank wires. ICICI bank does the wire transfer service totally free. There is no charge or fees for the bank wire transfers as stated by ICICI bank. But your other local bank may charge you fee for the wires.
