Here is a simplest and covenient way of sending money abroad / overseas from India if you dont have account in the bank like UTI bank or other bank. You can send money using bank accounts to other bank accounts using wires but what if you dont know the bank details of the person you are sending money to.
THis often happens when you are buying some service over the internet from some individual or small company in USA, UK or europe. You may have to pay for membership of some websites or buy some money making program or ebook. You may also have to pay for some other purpose to an overseas company. For that i suggest Bank drafts / cheques of AXIS Bank (formerly UTI Bank) in India.
You dont need a bank account to send money
You dont need wire transfers
You dont need to worry about any hassles.
Just go to the big AXIS Bank branch of your big cities (all axis bank branches may not offer this service). Ask them that you want to send money overseas to some person. Tell them your purpose. The bank officials are very helpful unlike the public sector bank guys. Then ask them to make you a bank draft / cheque. Tell them the amount you want to send.
(If the amount to be sent is small, then the fees may seem high to you but dont worry as the method of sending money is too simple so you have ease of sending money)
They will tell you the money you will have to pay them including their fees and taxes.
They will quickly make you an International bank draft / cheque for you.
(In my case it was made for Morgan chase bank New york as i had to send money to USA to buy some website services. Dont worry they will sort all your issues.)
How to send the international cheque / bank draft from India to USA, UK, China or Europe:
Use the international mail services. YOu can use your local head post office. Send the draft by air mail. Enclose it inside a paper then inside the envelope. Write your details on the back side of the draft (like i wrote my username of the website on the bank side of the cheque plus i wrote a letter to tell them what i wanna buy plus my “Transaction number” , what i wanna buy, my email address, etc.)
The recipient party will hopefully immediately contact you on recieving the bank draft be it in USA or UK. I havent heard about any of my readers experiencing difficulties in sending money this way. SO your money transfer overseas for payment for any product or service to USA, UK or other european or asian countries like China, Japan, etc. will be smooth and safe this way.
