While working in the field pays well and is fulfilling, the process to get that degree and certification is often quite challenging. Once you have passed the NCLEX RN exam, you can begin working in the field. However, be aware that most areas will require a periodic RN reexamination in order for your credentials to stay current. While experience makes some parts of the test easier on subsequent rounds, you likely won’t have hands on work experience in every part of the testing repertoire. Be sure to brush up and review when you know reexamination is eminent.
